Introduction
Abstract
In this issue, dedicated to censorship and its relationship with themes, forms and text reception, the section “In discussion” focuses not only on a work but wants to propose a more urgent and dramatic question. The fundamentalist terror in recent months has extended its range of action and intensified its bloody effects against hundreds of thousands of victims, from Africa to the Middle East and to Europe, and implies an aberrant form of 'cultural censorship' whose outcomes occupy an inevitable space in our experience as well as in our imagination.
