Abstract
This article aims to propose some reflections on the impact of open access publications in the field of cultural studies and literary criticism. The publishing experience of the open access journal Altre modernità will be reviewed in dialogue with its Editors-in-Chief, Laura Scarabelli and Nicoletta Vallorani.
