Author Guidelines

SUBMISSION

To complete the online submission process, authors must adhere to the Submission Preparation Checklist provided above and follow the specified citation style (see below). Authors are required to submit their papers (as mentioned in our call for papers) prepared for publication and accompanied by an abstract and metadata, following the guidelines provided on this website.

Articles

To submit an article, please take the following steps:

  • register as an “Author”;
  • log in as a “User” and click on “Submit a proposal”;
  • provide the required metadata: info, title, abstract, and key-words;
  • follow the instructions in the "How to ensure a blind review" window to upload an anonymous article;
  • upload the article;
  • select English from the drop-down menu and enter your metadata in English;
  • if necessary, you can modify the metadata after the submission is completed. To do this, go to your home page, click on the submission title, and find the "Edit metadata" link.

Contributions in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish will be considered. Authors are required to provide an English version of the metadata, abstract, and title for their proposal, in addition to the original language of the submission. To facilitate this, the online submission process includes a relevant drop-down menu that allows changing the language of the data entered in the fields. It is important to note that this drop-down menu should not be confused with a similar one found on each page of the web interface, located in the right column, which is used to change the language of the interface itself.

Once the author has entered both the mandatory and optional metadata, they should change the language and complete the entry by inputting the remaining metadata in the original language of the proposal. It is crucial to make this language switch before saving and proceeding to the next step of the submission process.

Mandatory metadata, marked with an asterisk (*), includes: name and surname, e-mail address, title of the submission, and abstract.

For each submission, the author can propose max. 5 keywords for the purposes of indexing.

After the peer-review process and editing, the author will have the opportunity to review his or her contribution.
