Est naschidu in Iscanu, in provincia ‘e Aristanis. Laureadu in matematica, at fattu su professore. At semper tentu amore mannu po sa poesia e a sa fine at proadu a iscrier versos issu puru; ma si est attrividu a boltare in sa limba de ‘idda sua sa poesia de sos Poetas chi pius istimat. In custu momentu est in sas librerias Edd est subitu sero – Tottu sas poesias de Salvatore Quasimodo

Vivet in Casteddu, cittade bella gai chi no bi nd’at cumpanza, ma no at immentrigare mai a Iscanu. Però si considerat cittadinu ‘e su mundu, odiat sa gherra, chi at connuttu a pizzinnu, e amat sa paghe comente su bene pius mannu.
