Abstract

Geronimo Stilton represents an extraordinary example of serialization both for its longevity and for the immersive characteristics of its fruition. The texts show isomorphisms at all levels: from characters (with identical morphologies) to places (resembling characters), from graphic signs (fonts equal meaning) to narrative discourse (author, narrator and main character coincide). This is the way serialization absorbs readers in the sameness of a fiction with features of 3-D representations.
