Rapporti commerciali fra la Tunisia e l'Italia centro-tirrenica fra IV e III sec. a.C.: gli apporti della cultura materiale ceramica
Abstract
Questo contributo analizza, per il IV e il III sec. a.C., l'evolversi dei rapporti commerciali fra l'area centro-tirrenica costale dell'Italia e Cartagine. La ricerca parte dallo spoglio bibliografico di ceramiche di ipotizzata origine centro-italica già edite e viene integrata dallo studio di provenienza di anfore commerciali e ceramiche a vernice nera rinvenute in recenti scavi condotti in Tunisia. Per l'identificazione di questi nuovi materiali, in parte ancora inediti, si fa riferimento ai fabrics ceramici di produzioni campane e lucane pubblicate nella banca dati di FACEM. Le evidenze della cultura materiale ceramica attualmente disponibili per l'area tunisina permettono di scandire i traffici centro-tirrenici fra IV e III sec. a.C. in due fasi di cui solo la seconda, a partire dal 300 a.C. ca., sarebbe l'espressione di veri rapporti commerciali fra l'area campano-romana, Cartagine e la sua eparchia punico-siciliana.
