Abstract

Ruben Montini, This Anonymity is Subversive

Review of the exhibition This Anonymity is Subversive, curated by Efisio Carbone and Camilla Pavan, held at the MACC Foundation in Calasetta from 29 April to 3 July 2023. The exhibition traces the journey in Europe made by Ruben Montini's important relational art project. A journey that lasted six years and was capable to connect the European community through the embroidery of the great white fabric. The fabric is also the protagonist of the final exhibition, with new unpublished works by Montini to recontextualize its creative history.
