Alien Comics, and the Comic Book as an Alien
Abstract
A brief history of science fiction comics that considers how this particular genre has always been characterised by a subversive and nonconformist spirit, in opposition to mainstream culture. Thus comics are “alien” not only when they are about aliens but always, because they are perceived as a foreign body in the context of cultural production.Downloads
