Notes for an Epistemology of Reading: The Hidden Itineraries
Abstract
All readers have experienced how much a book (by the word ‘book’ here we mean a story, a tale) is able to "grow" and make those who read it grow too. But in what sense are the stories "growing" and growing "within us"? And why do they generally fascinate us? In this essay it is assumed that stories are an indispensable nourishment for our brain and the overall health of our body.
