Approaches to the renewal of dramatic space in the avant-garde theater of César Vallejo.

Abstract

The dramatic text of a play confirms not only the ideological procedure, but also the aesthetic deliberation of the writer. In that sense, the series of dramatic pieces by César Vallejo, which was rescued and published posthumously, demonstrates the intention to represent the sociopolitical situation of the time and the rigorous care of the dialogic and scenic composition according to the parameters of his own avant-garde perspective. regarding the theatrical experience. Therefore, the article aims to analyze the renewal of Vallejo's avant-garde theater, focused on the category of dramatic space of Los topos, Lock-out and Colacho hermanos. The aim is to verify the existence of a conscious dramatic procedure of the writer-playwright based on his innovative proposal of the place of representation, a space where the cultural behavior of the characters and the socio-political tensions develop during the development of the plot. In other words, the dramatic pieces reveal the displacement between the traditional form (Los topos), the development of new forms of the scenic space (Lock-out) and the realistic fixation based on the convergence between artistic vision and social consciousness (Colacho hermanos).
