The Mediterranean between Border and Crossroads. Writing from Two Shores: The Works of Giorgio Todde, Yasmina Khadra, and Nourredine Saadi Compared
Abstract
A meeting place and at the same time a border, the Mediterranean is the protagonist in works by three authors with profoundly different roots: Giorgio Todde, Yasmina Khadra, and Nourredine Saadi.
The purpose of this contribution is to highlight the meanings for which the Mediterranean has become a bearer on the literary plane in the work coming from two shores, what are the points of contact and the new perspectives are that this motif has inspired in the reflection taking place on the notions of limits, boundaries, and borders.Downloads
