Abstract

Amara Lakhous is one of the most important contemporary Arabic authors. The continuing experience of crossing borders between languages and cultures is one of the traits that best distinguish his biography, even before his narrative.

Daniela Brogi, Università per Stranieri di Siena

Daniela Brogi insegna Letteratura Contemporanea all'Università per Stranieri di Siena. I suoi principali lavori riguardano le teorie e i modi della narrativa dal Medio Evo alla Contemporaneità. Si è occupata di Boccaccio, Manzoni, Verga, Bilenchi, Cassola, Pasolini, Visconti, Calvino e la scrittura prodotta dalle nuove generazioni di italiani. Attualmente sta conducendo una ricerca sul Neorealismo tra letteratura e cinema.
