Abstract

In an issue that connects artistic creation with desire in many ways, we propose here the notoriously eccentric point of view of Šklovskij, through the re-reading a long conversation he had with Alberto Arbasino, published by “Il Giorno”, 13th October 1965. This is the original version of the interview: an extensively revised edition is included in the profile dedicated by Arbasino to Šklovskij in Sessanta posizioni, Milano, Feltrinelli, 1971, pp. 410-28.
