Le ceramiche della seconda fase nuragica di Montigu Mannu (Massama-OR)

Abstract

I frammenti ceramici di età nuragica presi in esame, complessivamente 22, furono raccolti in superficie negli anni ’70 del secolo scorso a Montigu Mannu (Massama-OR), località situata nella piana alluvionale del Campidano Maggiore. I reperti sono ascrivibili a fasi del Bronzo finale/inizi I Ferro ed evidenziano aspetti tipologici ampiamente documentati in numerosi altri siti nuragici localizzati nella stessa regione geografica; sono pertinenti ad un contesto abitativo e attestano nello stesso luogo una nuova fase d’occupazione nuragica, successiva a quella rappresentata dai resti di un nuraghe monotorre.

The ceramic fragments of nuragic age examined, 22 in all, were collected in surface in the ‘70 years of the last century near Montigu Mannu (Massama-OR), site located in the alluvial plain of the Campidano Maggiore. The finds are imputable to phases of the Final Bronze Age / beginnings of the Iron Age I and they show broadly typological aspects documented in numerous other nuragic sites located in the same geographical region; they are pertinent to a housing context and they attest, in the same place, a new phase of nuragic occupation, following to that represented by the rests of a simple nuraghe.
