Abstract
Abstract: The long trajectory of the Nuragic civilisation (17th - 10th/9th centuries B.C.) is characterised by a succession of dramatic changes leaving visible traces in a varying landscape, like stratigraphy on a regional scale. These changes affect not only the Nuragic monuments and landscape but also the social and political institutions of Nuragic communities, culminating in a transfiguration of memory and a new mythology apparent in ceremonial centres and sanctuaries.
