Parole chiave: mausoleo, romano, basamento, porta a macina, urna funerariaAbstract: The monument called Sa Presonedda (small prison) in the ancient town of Sulci is a very important proof of the development of the funerary tower monuments in the Mediterranean area in Roman age: starting from the analysis of the Sardinian structure, the aim is to paint a general overview in which the Asian tower monuments, the Numidian ones, up to the monuments of the Roman provinces, can be considered as the main terms of comparison.
