Abstract

March 26th, 1965: «Paese Sera-Libri» publishes the transcript, never more reissued, of one among the various round tables organized by the newspaper: it is called Requiem for the novel?, it has involved Alberto Arbasino, Francesco Leonetti, Alberto Moravia, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Edoardo Sanguineti, and it has been coordinated by Armando Vitelli (the supplement’s founder, with Piero Dallamano). We republish it here, together with two following articles, respectively by Italo Calvino and Vitelli himself, connected to it, as we will see.
